Celebration of Life for Rodolphe Fournier

Fournier, Rodolphe (Ralph) 1930 - 2020 Passed away peacefully at the St Louis Residence on Sunday November 15, 2020 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia (nee Laroche). Very proud father of Anne Gal (late Joe), Brian (Cathy), David, Yvonne (Scott), Marc (Kathy). Sadly missed by nine grandchildren Adam (Stephanie), Alicia, Jessica (Josh), Vicki (Ryan), Valori, Tim, Patricia (Chris), Samantha (Rick) and Maggie. He was a caring great grandfather to Quinn, Madeline, Austin, Anna, Grainger, Emma, Zack and Thomson. Rodolphe was predeceased by his parents Mazanod and Sarah (nee Charette), his brothers, Léo, Victor, Samuel and his sisters Florence, Rose, Gilberte and Laura. Ralph fought a courageous battle with cancer for many years. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Albanel ASK 859 North Bay Ontario and a Charter Member of Corpus Christi Council #12106. Mr. Fournier was a retired veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force and he retired in 1989 from the Department of Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. He enjoyed dancing, playing a variety of musical instruments, dominating at cribbage and eurche card games with his grandchildren.
