Celebration of Life for Marie Tatiana Adamcewicz

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing our dear Mother/Baba at the age of 88 years. Marie was born in Bassano, AB and raised on the family farm north of Hussar. In January 1949, she married the love of her life, Leopold Adamcewicz, and together they raised their family on a farm south of Hussar. Marie is survived by her children: Wanda Gerber of Calgary, Randy (Brenda) Adamcewicz of Cochrane, and Judy (Dan) McDonald of Calgary; her six grandchildren: Monica (Andy) Gerber, Andreas Gerber of Calgary, Kenton (Kim) Adamcewicz of Hussar, Mason (Miranda) Adamcewicz of Dalum, Cole (Carmen) McDonald, and Kendell McDonald of Calgary; her six great grandchildren: Lane and Teagan Adamcewicz, Tori Adamcewicz, Molly Wifp, Cedric Gerber-McDonald, and the youngest Liv McDonald; her sister Olga Anderson; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Leopold Adamcewicz, son-in-law Alfred Gerber, sister Nancy Fisher, and brother-in-law Floyd Anderson. She will be fondly remembered for her love of cooking, and especially her famous pies and Ukrainian food, which many visitors would stop by and enjoy. Marie’s love for her family was endless, always hosting family gatherings and never one to miss out on a special event. Due to COVID-19, a private burial will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Calgary, AB. The family would like to thank the staff at Sagewood Care Centre in Strathmore for all their care and kindness, as well as the staff at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary. Your kindness will never be forgotten. https://www.arbormemorial.ca/mountainview/obituaries/marie-tatiana-adamcewicz/60506/

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart, I'll always be with you.
